The mysterious story of the Anti-aircraft tower
For many years I have been thinking of a way to tell the dark history of our tower- that obviously has not always been a zoo- to younger generations. After preparatory works by Dr. Ginner, we managed to convince the writer Dr. Marcello La Speranza to work for us. Dr. La Speranza has done intensive research on the anti-aircraft towers and the related history and composed 22 plates for our purposes. These plates were exhibited on the sixth and ninth floor of the main staircase. The rooms on these floors are used for research, preservation breeding, fodder breeding and water preparation, as well as for Dr. Kolar’s quarantine branch for confiscated animals.
