The Roof platform

At present we do not know if a complete renovation or conversion of the roof will ever be possible. We have adapted part of the roof in order to offer guided tours – for a small extra fee – to our guests for an unforgettable panoramic view of Vienna. The Radar silo is too damaged, due to a bomb explosion, making a temporary conversion too expensive.

The strongly damaged floor of the roof was covered with polythene in order to make it waterproof. The room below was unusable up until this point. For our smaller guests we constructed a wooden plateau so that they also can enjoy the panorama view of Vienna.
