Hey Kids! My name is Quip and I’m a special kind of fish! I live only at the "Haus des Meeres” In Vienna. I have to tell you that I’ve had so many exciting adventures and it would be so nice if you could come for a visit. In the “Haus des Meeres” we have over 10,000 animals living with us! Most of them are hiding, but with a closer look you can probably find them! To learn more about our amazing animals, you can visit us every Thursday at 7 pm and Sunday at 10 am to observe the snakes and reptiles while feeding. But don’t be afraid, because our snakes are not poisonous and used to children. Also our Haus des Meeres Crew will keep an eye on you and the animal!
Every Thursday at 6 pm a fearless diver jumps into the shark basin! Equipped with a special diving mask, the diver can answer your questions while swimming between the sharks and our beloved turtle “Puppi”.
In our tropical section you can find free climbing apes and free flying birds. Without any fence they are walking directly next to you and observe you while walking through the jungle.
