Gabunviper - the snake with the longest poison-fangs

2010-05-04 | Gabunvipers are living in Africa and their poison-fangs can grow up to more than 4cm.

The fang itself is hollow. Through it the snake injects the poison into the victim, often ten times the amount which would be allready deadly to humans. Gabunvipers can also reach up to 10kg and therefore  are the heaviest poisnous snakes on earth.
