The Federal Building administration informed us that for the Vienna Festival week the terrace would be used for a concept art work from Lawrence Weiner in which it would be painted white and covered with text.

To our surprise the text, irritating for zoo visitors, was never removed.

Many visitors from Austria and especially form abroad ask whether the tower was in danger of collapsing ( „Zerschmettert in Stücke ...“)

The information slate of the Vienna festival week on the tower is very small and does not enlighten as to what is meant by the text.
