Guided tours
Whether you’re with a tour group, colleagues or out celebrating with friends – a private guided tour is the perfect way to discover the Haus des Meeres on your own terms. Our guides will take you on a journey through the fascinating world of animals, sharing exciting information and fun facts, and will be happy to answer your questions and talk about your favourite animals.
Important: These tours do not take place in the evening, but from Monday to Friday in the morning or afternoon – by appointment.
Meeting point: Atlantic Tunnel (ground floor)
When: Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons (except on public holidays and during school holidays), time by arrangement
Number of participants: up to 25 people
When booking, please also state in the notes field whether any children (and their ages, if possible) will be taking part in the tour, so that the information can be presented in an age-appropriate manner.

Then you’ve come to the right place – book a school tour for your inquisitive children (available from Year 1 of primary school)! You can choose between a ‘Highlights Tour’ taking in various sections of the zoo, age-appropriate special tours, or the ‘Understanding Nature’ tour.
Price: The tours themselves are free of charge; you only need to pay the relevant zoo admission fee.
For every 10 paying pupils, admission is free for one accompanying adult. PLEASE NOTE: This offer is only valid when tickets are purchased on site – these options are NOT available online!
Number of participants: Groups of 25 pupils or more must be split into two guided tours

Theme: A classic ‘Highlights’ tour or a special theme from our range (unfortunately, we cannot accommodate individual requests for specific themes)

Our guides will take you on an exciting journey through fascinating habitats – from the tropical rainforest to the depths of the ocean. Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts, gain insider information and, if you wish, find out exactly what you’ve always wanted to know.

We offer special guided tours on the first Friday of every month at 6 pm. Over the course of around 60 minutes, visitors gain fascinating insights into a variety of zoological topics from unique perspectives.
