In 1993, after the death of Hans Jungwirth, to whom the society will always be grateful, Univ. Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Starmühlner - one of the founding fathers of the society - took over the presidency. He was supported by vice-president Univ.Prof. Dr. Jörg Ott, and I was asked to remain on as CEO.
