Prof. Dr. Rupert Riedl passes away

Just a few months after celebrating his 80th birthday on the 22.2.2005, Prof. Dr. Rupert Riedl passed away on 19.9.2005. Prof. Riedl was one of the promotors of our association. He supported us mainly in the starting phase in the 70s. His weekly backup for Haus des Meeres in a difficult situation was a big help to us, and also very inspiring and instructional for all of us, particularly for me.

We will keep his memory in much honor,and will look after the palm-impressions he left us with, in Haus des Meeres.
