Haus des Meeres stair run 2025
It’s time to lace up those running shoes again!
After the successful return in 2024, a stair run will once again take place at the Haus des Meeres in 2025: Towerrunning Austria invites you to scale the heights of the a former anti-aircraft tower! You’ll climb the interior south stairwell, past all the animal attractions, up 11 floors to the finish line on the rooftop of the Haus des Meers. Covering 269 steps, this sprint is quite the challenge!
Runners will be rewarded with a unique view of Vienna’s city center, as well as refreshments and prizes – all 50 m above street level.
The Haus des Meeres and Towerrunning Austria are proud to present this unique running event again. A portion of the entry fee will be donated to the Tierheim Dechanthof.

Entry fee: €30, includes entry to Haus des Meeres (€22,90€) and a €2 donation to Tierheim Dechanthof
Reduced entry fee: €20 for HDM employees, TRA members, TWA members
Race number distribution/payment/post-registration: starting at 3:00 p.m. at the left of the main entrance

Start interval: set start list according to start number, individual start, max. 70 starters
