Sponsoring

Building the future together – with your support

As a non-profit zoo, we are committed every day to education, species conservation, and raising awareness for the natural world. Our operations are funded exclusively through admission fees, donations, and sponsorships — without any public funding.

To continue providing our visitors with modern, sustainable, and welfare-focused habitats, ongoing renovations and developments of our facilities are essential. These projects come with unique challenges: Haus des Meeres is located within a former World War II flak tower — a historic structure with exceptionally massive concrete architecture.

Creating new openings in concrete walls requires specialised equipment, extensive planning, and significant investment. Every construction and redevelopment project is technically demanding and associated with substantial costs — yet crucial for advancing our educational and conservation mission.

Your Support Makes a Visible Difference

In addition to long-term partnerships, we highly value one-time sponsorships that directly support specific construction and redevelopment projects. Your contribution helps shape the sustainable future of our zoo in a meaningful and visible way.

As a sponsorship partner, you will benefit from a range of attractive incentives:

  • Presentation of a personalized sponsorship certificate and photo opportunity within the sponsored area
  • Recognition as a project partner throughout the supported project (e.g. press releases, signage at the construction site, etc.)
  • Presentation of your company including company logo and link to your website
  • Joint sponsorship announcement on our social media channels
  • Invitation to the opening of the project you supported
  • Dedicated sponsor plaque displayed at the supported habitat for one year
  • Recognition as an “Official Partner of Haus des Meeres”
