Haus des Meeres stair run 2026
Ready, set, climb!
In 2026, it’s once again time to swap the running track for the stairs at Haus des Meeres! Together with Towerrunning Austria, we invite participants to conquer the former anti-aircraft tower. The challenge takes runners up the building’s south staircase, past all the animal attractions, up 11 floors to the finish line on the rooftop of the Haus des Meers. Covering 269 steps, this sprint is quite the challenge!
Runners will be rewarded with a unique view of Vienna’s city center, as well as refreshments and prizes – all 50 m above street level.
Haus des Meeres and Towerrunning Austria are delighted to host this unique event once again. Part of the entry fee will be donated to the Dechanthof Animal Shelter.

Entry fee: €30, includes entry to Haus des Meeres (€22,90€) and a €2 donation to Tierheim Dechanthof

Race number distribution/payment/post-registration: starting at 3:00 p.m. at the left of the main entrance

Start interval: set start list according to start number, individual start, max. 70 starters
